John Adair
B.S. Mechanical Engineering; 18 years patent legal experience; 1 year work experience as a product/software engineer. John Adair has focused his entire career on patent law, primarily working on patent prosecution, but has also supported various patent infringement cases over his career. John received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Virginia in 2000 and his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin in 1997. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, John worked for one year at Engineering Support Associates, a startup engineering consulting and product development firm, performing product design and testing, including software code development and validation. Since graduating from law school, John practiced as a patent attorney at Gray, Cary, Ware and Freidenrich, LLP before helping start Sprinkle IP Law Group. John has significant patent prosecution experience in the areas of software, semiconductor equipment, semiconductor processing, data storage, content management, telecommunications, wireless devices and medical device technology. John is licensed to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
