Mark Berrier

M.S. Electrical Engineering; over 25 years patent legal experience; 4 years engineering work experience. Mark Berrier has concentrated his practice primarily on patent prosecution since graduating law school from the University of Texas in 1992. Mark obtained his B.S. in Physics from Texas A&M University in 1985 and spent 4 years in industry as a systems engineer for Texas Instruments. After graduating law school, Mark worked for 3 years as a patent attorney before returning to school at Rice University where he obtained his M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1997. After graduating from Rice, Mark worked for Conley Rose & Tayon and Gray Cary Ware & Friedenrich, LLP in Austin. Mr. Berrier began working with Sprinkle IP Law Group shortly after its formation in 2004. Mark’s entire legal career has been as a patent lawyer with experience that includes patent litigation and opinion work, but with a primary focus on patent prosecution. His patent prosecution work has focused primarily on electrical, electro-mechanical and software patent applications, including computer and memory architectures, analog circuitry, digital signal processing, imaging systems, semiconductor processes and equipment, networking technologies and various mechanical device technologies. Mark is licensed to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
